"We had insurance with another carrier for years, and when I asked them if they had any discounts for our insurance and loyalty to them for so long, they were so quick to say they had nothing that could help us out. So we looked at State Farm and were able to save hundreds right from the get go. I have recommended State Farm to all of my family and friends and I enjoy knowing that we have the best insurance for our cars and home. "I tried to change my State Farm agency to Kathleen Banse’s office, but I was told I wasn’t eligible at this time. When I asked for clarification, Kathleen said I wasn't within the parameters but couldn't explain further. After the call, I texted her expressing my dissatisfaction, being dishonest and untrustworthy, and mentioned I would leave a negative review. Kathleen attempted to call me twice and later sent a text saying she wanted to be transparent, but by then, I had already lost confidence in her. If you just take the time to explain things to people, then you would not have this bad review. Stay away from this agency, Kathleen is dishonest and untrustworthy . Who knows she probably let you get insurance coverages more than you need. Not trustworthy, not transparent, and above all dishonest person."

"Difficulty with the claims process and recorded statement. I expected the process to be question and answer format, with clarifying questions to get the perspective of the driver. What I found unacceptable from State Farm (my insurance provider) was colorful commentary and accusations. “Why am I hearing differently from the witness, what do you think she has to gain by falsifying her statement” “What you are saying is not how I am hearing it from the other driver and if it were not for your actions the accident would not have occurred” I expected the process to get the liability close to the truth by way of process. The confrontational approach was unacceptable towards me as the insured with State Farm and very different from my past experiences with my 35 years with State Farm. I expected more from this group. My grievance is with process, not the outcome."

"Only Kathleen is licensed to help or answer questions about mutual funds. So you always have to wait for her to get back with you. I've been waiting for a month now, and still haven't heard back, after 3 calls. The girls in the office at clueless. I'm moving my IRA to Fidelity. This was the same problem with a different State farm office. Never again. I guess you don't need my 20K."

"This is going to be about state farm in general. Back in August an amazon driver did a hit and run on me, getting them on that should have been easy since amazon has cameras in their trucks (just force them to cough up whichever driver was there at 5:00 on August 20th, there was only one of them). They didn't attempt to do that and stuck me with the deductible. You'd think they'd have gone after them harder since they had to pay their share but nope. Edit: And they gave up on trying to recover that after like a week, which is why they've got a one star and I'm still stuck with that payout."
